Mrs Garrity has been Head teacher at St Cuthbert’s since September 2021 and has worked as a teacher here since 2000. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from Northumbria University and then went on to study for a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at the same university. She was Deputy head teacher at St Cuthbert’s from September 2010 and has taught in nearly ever year group. Mrs Garrity is from Birtley and attends mass at St Joseph’s church where she plays the flute. She lives in Ouston with her husband, son and daughter.
