We are the Parent Teacher Association of St Cuthbert’s School and raise money to improve the experience of the children and the facilities of the school. One of our major achievements was to raise £18,000 toward the cost of the Multi Use Games Area outside of the main entrance. This would not have been possible without the help and support of the parents and carers. We were lucky to have match funding from Barclays Bank which enabled us to raise the amount quicker.
Last year we funded the Duke of Edinburgh. Junior Duke Award, purchased phonics books to support our lower school children with the Little Wandle Revised Letters and Sounds reading scheme and helped towards the Year 6 visit to the YMT Festival in Allensford.
This year we have used funds to purchase a mobile charging unit for the new school laptops and purchased a class set of iPads and cases. Each year group has also received funds to set up reading areas in their class room. We could not achieve any of this without your help and support – Thank you!
We welcome parents to our meetings and appreciate any help that you can offer at our events.
