Spring Term
Life Skills – Community
We had a visit to church and listened to Father talk about all of the different jobs in church. We also had a visit from Claire, from Shirley’s Florists, and we pretended we were flower arrangers and had a go at making our own arrangements to take home.
World Book Day
We had lots of fun learning about Jill Murphy and focusing on our class book Peace at Last.
Autumn Term
Seasons
We went on an Autumn Walk around school to hunt for signs of autumn. We saw lots of brown crunchy leaves on the floor, empty trees and dog walkers wearing hats and scarfs. We really enjoyed picking up leaves, crunching them in our hand and throwing them in the air.
Life Skills
We designed posters to advertise our Juice and Biscuit Afternoon, made placemats and decorated biscuits. We had an excellent afternoon with parents, grandparents, family and friends!
