Knowing times tables facts is crucially important to your child’s mathematics education.  Many areas of the Maths curriculum are underpinned by secure knowledge of times tables.  Pupils are tested on their understanding of the times tables through the statutory Multiplication Tables Check.  This will table place for Year 4 pupils this year in June 2022.  Please use this parental guide to help your child to consolidate their understanding of the times tables at home.
