Childcare Provision

Introduction

We know parents and carers rely on wrap-around care, therefore our school provides before and after school childcare provision. Mrs Loughlin, Mrs Short, Mrs Downing and Mrs Marrah run our before and after school sessions. Booking is available via the school Arbor Parent Portal App, if you have any problems making a booking please contact the school office.

Wraparound Care

Should you wish to register your child for wrap-around care, either breakfast club, teatime club, or both, please complete the relevant forms below, or contact the school office. To book sessions you need to log into your Arbor Parent Portal, select the relevant club, register your child and add money to your account (money pot) – the booking facility will then be available to you. Bookings can be made right up to, and including, the day of the session to help with any last minute emergencies.

Breakfast Club

The breakfast club is open Monday – Friday (term time only), from 7.45am until the start of the school day. All sessions should be pre-booked in advance so that your child is listed on the attendance register. To book a place you must first complete a registration form (link below) and also register your child on the Arbor Parent Portal for Breakfast Club. To register on Arbor, select Activities/Clubs, select Breakfast Club and add money to your account (money pot), register your child and the booking facility should be available. If you have any problems making a booking please contact the school office.

Breakfast is served immediately, as the children arrive. Children will be in our care and will not leave the school premises. The children will be escorted to the school playground at 8:30am to meet their friends and then head to their classes for the start of the school day. Children attending the breakfast club are offered a wide range of healthy, nutritious food including: white or brown bread, crumpets, pancakes, croissants, cereals, fruit and yoghurts. We also have milk, water and juice available to drink.

Teatime Club

This is an after school service that is provided Monday to Friday for children from nursery up to Y6. The children will be collected from their classrooms at the end of the school day by a member of staff and taken to Teatime Club which is held in our school. You can use the after school provision as often or as little as you like – everyday, once a week or just on the odd occasion when you can’t make your life fit in with school hours!

Teatime Club runs from the end of the school day (3.15pm for EYFS/KS1 children, or 3:20pm for KS2 children) until 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and until 4:30pm on a Friday, all children attending will be served a snack.

The first half session ends at 4:30pm, for those parents who do not require a later collection time.

The second half-session is to accommodate those children taking part in any after-school curriculum activities/team sports but whose parents require a later collection time of 5:30pm .

Finally, there is the option of a full session, from the end of the school day, up to 5:30pm (with the exception of a Friday where the session ends 4:30pm).

All sessions should be pre-booked in advance so that your child is listed on the attendance register. Prior to making your first booking you must complete a registration form (link below) and also register your child on the Arbor Parent Portal for Tea Club. To register on Arbor, select Activities/Clubs, select Tea Club and add money to your account (money pot), register your child and the booking facility should be available. If you have any problems making a booking please contact the school office..

You can collect your child at any time but you will be charged for the full session that they have been booked in for. Late collection will also incur an additional charge.

Childcare Vouchers

We are able to accept payments for out of school childcare via Childcare Vouchers or the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. More information on the tax-free childcare scheme can be found at www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare Our registration number is 148259. For Childcare Vouchers, if we are not on the list of your childcare vouchers account, we need to know the name of your provider so that our school can register to receive payments.

The government portal isn’t the most user friendly for tracking payments and they don’t send schools any remittance information. For parents paying via this method you will need to send the following information, by email, to the school office stcc@stcc.bwcet.com

  • NAME’S unique reference code (this is made up of 4 letters and 5 numbers, followed by TFC. For example, ‘ZQXF3579TFC’),
  • The exact payment amount, £ and p
  • The date the payment was made.

If you have a screenshot that would be very helpful too. We will then need an email each time you make a payment, again with the exact amount paid (£ and p) and date, so we can track it and credit the payment to your account.

To find the unique reference code, log on to the GOV.Portal – it should have your child(ren) listed under the tax free section. Then click on view transactions/ then scroll down and hidden within the body of text towards the bottom of the page is the unique number.

Our registration reference/provider number for other childcare voucher providers are as follows:

Edenred P21346362

If you use a childcare provider that is not listed above, please contact the school with details and we will register with them.
