Arbor is the MIS computer system we use in school, along with all other Bishop Wilkinson Trust primary schools. This is used to manage the information we hold and process about our children and colleagues.
When your child is registered at St Cuthbert’s you will receive a welcome email to enable you to set up an account for our Arbor Parent Portal. If you do not receive this please contact the school office and a new email link will be sent to you. (Please check your junk/spam email and if necessary add us to your safe senders list).
The system enables parents/carers to interact with our school. The aim is that Arbor will provide better communication between home and school with a more streamlined approach to managing communication, bookings, payments, clubs and trips as everything is available on one system.
On your Arbor account there is an In-App messaging service, school will use this to send short messages to you and you can use this feature for sending messages to school. The messaging feature is only available when you are logged into your Arbor Parent Portal. You can also email the school as usual using our main email address stcc@stcc.bwcet.com
The Arbor system offers a range of features including being able to view information about your child(ren) and also enables you to send us updates to your personal information, such as changes to your address, telephone numbers or email addresses. Please check the information held and amend/update as required, contact details are particularly important. Also, please add St Cuthbert’s to your safe senders list on your email account to prevent communications going into your junk/spam folder.
Should you require wraparound care, please book online using our Arbor app.
Once you have logged in to the Arbor Portal you can select your child and then the activity that you wish to book, e.g, Breakfast Club. You will need to add funds to your account (money pot) and register your child to open the booking facility. Bookings can be made up to te day of the session. If you experience any problems making a booking please contact the school office or require last minute childcare.
Payment for wraparound provision should be made in advance.

Children who wish to book a school meal will do so during registration each morning with their class teacher. This enables children to choose between packed lunch and a school meal each day. For those children in KS2 who pay for school meals, you will be able to view the current, live balance of your child(ren)’s school meal account and make payments to our school using your credit/debit card.
Please ensure that school meals are paid for in advance and a credit balance is maintained at all times. You can upload money into your child’s school meal ‘pot’ weekly, fortnightly, monthly, half-termly or termly in advance. Payment should not be in arrears.

We are able to accept payments for out of school childcare via Childcare Vouchers or the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. More information on the tax-free childcare scheme can be found at www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare Our registration number is 148259. For Childcare Vouchers, if we are not on the list of your childcare vouchers account, we need to know the name of your provider so that our school can register to receive payments.
The government portal isn’t the most user friendly for tracking payments and they don’t send schools any remittance information. For parents paying via this method you will need to send the following information, by email, to the school office stcc@stcc.bwcet.com
If you have a screenshot that would be very helpful too. We will then need an email wit the above information each time you make a payment, so we can track it and credit the payment to your account.
If you are struggling to find the unique reference code, log on to the GOV.Portal – it should have your child(ren) listed under the tax free section. Then click on view transactions/ then scroll down and hidden within the body of text towards the bottom of the page is the unique number.
